Hemp Ban FAQs

The federal hemp ban goes into effect on December 11th.

While the federal hemp ban doesn’t go into effect until December 11th, there are state-specific hemp restrictions that are already in place. In total, there are about 27 states where we can no longer ship our hemp-infused products. If you add a hemp-infused product to your cart and you get a notification that the product is not available in your state, then you are in one of the impacted states. CBD and THC laws are different, so you may be able to buy one product but not the other.

Unfortunately, if your subscription order was cancelled, you are in one of the states that has state-level hemp restrictions in place. We recommend you try our botanical line or see if you’re able to purchase our non-THC hemp products to enjoy the same benefits without the high.

Any Snoozy products with THC will no longer be available for purchase after the hemp ban. In many states (but not all), CBD will still be legal, and we are expanding our CBD line to offer a CBD alternative to each of our existing THC products.

Yes! All of our non-infused (botanical) products are completely hemp-free. We are moving our botanical products to our sister website, Snoozy.com. You are still able to buy botanicals on GetSnoozy.com, but we do recommend moving your orders to Snoozy.com at least a month before the ban for a seamless transition.

This date is subject to change, but we recommend you order all of your hemp products by December 1st to ensure enough time before the ban for you to receive your products.

All non-CBD subscription orders will be indefinitely paused or cancelled in early December. For hemp-free products, you will need to set up a new subscription at Snoozy.com, which we unfortunately can’t do automatically on our end. CBD subscriptions will remain on GetSnoozy.com.

Yes! We’re going to do our best to keep inventory levels high enough for larger orders through the end of November. We are staying very close to the changes in the hemp legal landscape, and we will be sure to keep product availability up to date. However, it is our recommendation to err on the side of caution and prepare for a long-term ban with your must-have products.

Our products have a 12-month expiration date

The hemp ban has already been delayed once, but the general consensus is that the December 11th date is going to stick. There are bipartisan efforts that could delay or even end the hemp ban, and we highly encourage you to contact your legislative representatives to express your opinion.
